Software engineer. I like building software that's resilient and fast, and I tinker with dev tooling for the fun of it.

Projects

Kilo

Free, local-first workout, body-weight, and calorie tracker for Android. Built after losing 40+ kg tracking all three manually across paywalled apps. Kilo puts training, weight, and calories on one timeline. No accounts, no servers, no paywall: SQLite on-device is the source of truth, with JSON export/import. Analytics no free app has: per-exercise progression, an anatomical muscle heatmap, and a combined weight/tonnage/calories trendline.

 Download the Android APK. Installs in seconds; install via Obtainium to get new releases automatically.

retroplayer

A Spotify client that looks like it's from 2001: a pixel-faithful Winamp 2.x player over Win98 chrome, playing your real library through the Web Playback SDK. Also turns Spotify's full data export into the listening analytics they don't give you: a heatmap and multi-year trends, parsed entirely in the browser.

slate (WIP)

A native macOS database client in Rust + GPUI, built because the Electron ones are heavy for what they actually do. Postgres for now, with multiple connections each mapped to its own workspace and seamless switching between them, and it stays fast on large result sets.

Private repo while it's still taking shape.

Experience

Software Engineer II at Conrad Labs (product: Transect)

Austin, TX (remote) · Feb 2024 – present (SE I until Jul 2026)

Transect is a geospatial due-diligence platform for renewable energy. I own features end-to-end: pipelines and cloud infra through to the map on screen. Two I'd point at: a RAG pipeline that reads permits and regulatory documents, turning days of analyst review into minutes, and a self-serve layer upload system that replaced a three-team, six-week manual handoff with 30 minutes.

The rest is in the résumé.

Full-Stack Engineer + Data Engineer at InfoArc.ai

Dubai, UAE (remote) · Jan 2023 – Feb 2024

Sole engineer on InvX, a circular supply-chain platform: MVP to production, auth through Stripe payments, plus GCP data pipelines for a retail client on the side.

Open source: zed-angular, configurable Node heap size, fixing LSP crashes on large workspaces.
